Survey: Rethinking Mental Health
We’re developing a new mental health support platform that you can use in whatever way suits you—whether that’s just one feature or the full toolkit. The platform will be shaped by your feedback so it truly reflects what people need.
This page is here to help you understand the platform before you fill out our survey. It gives you a quick overview without asking lots of detailed questions.
Our approach:
The interactive model will ask you about your situation, mood and symptoms and what factors may be contributing to them. Based on this, we provide clear, structured guidance on lifestyle changes, coping strategies, and self-management tools that may help improve your mental health. We have designed the model to provide simple, immediate advice as well as more comprehensive long-term support. The platform also uses information from people in similar situations, along with ongoing feedback, making our advice and guidance even more effective and relevant.
You can also access a range of optional features and resources, using whatever is helpful for you.
These can be split into:
1: Self-Help Tools & Interactive Modules
- Personalised advice – Tailored self-help strategies, personalised wellness plans and evidence-based recommendations; we do this by integrating symptoms and real-world causal factors (such as sleep, finances, lifestyle, social support, environment).
- Condition and/or issue-specific support – This could be around a condition such as ADHD, or a life event, such as a bereavement
- Mood Tracking – Simple daily check-ins; emotional pattern visualisation.
- Mindfulness & Meditation – Guided sessions and exercises. (free)
- Lifestyle Help – How lifestyle changes, such as healthy eating, exercise and sleep contribute to improved mental health
- Journaling & Reflection Tools– Prompts to express feelings and track growth.
- Community support– Links to local groups
2: Educational & Knowledge Base (all free)
- A-Z Guide – Plain-language explanations of mental health terms, symptoms, and concepts (“Why do I feel lonely/sad/angry?”)
