We (Care to Talk) are developing an early-stage mental health platform based in the UK, developing digital tools to help people understand and improve their mental wellbeing.

2. What Data We Collect
Through our research surveys and early user testing, we may collect:
- Anonymous survey responses (opinions, preferences, or feedback)
- Email addresses (optional) for users who wish to take part in future testing or updates
We do not collect clinical, diagnostic, or sensitive personal health data in identifiable form.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Analyse trends and feedback to design and improve the platform
- Contact you (if you provide your email) about early access, feedback opportunities, or updates
- Produce anonymised, aggregated research summaries (e.g., “78% of respondents said they would use our platform
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Under UK GDPR, our legal basis for collecting and processing this data is consent — you choose whether to provide your email, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using encrypted and password-protected systems (such as Tally and internal cloud storage).
We keep survey data for up to 12 months, after which identifiable data (such as emails) is deleted.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Ask for your data to be corrected or deleted
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data rights have been violated
